The Zoological Society of Florida (ZSF) and Miami Metrozoo strive to encourage an appreciation for the world’s wildlife and help to conserve it for future generations. To fulfill this mission, the ZSF and the Zoo cultivate relationships with corporate and private partners. To this end, the ZSF and Zoo have partnered with modeling industry entrepreneur and fashion icon, Irene Marie for the Beauties and the Beasts partnership. This partnership strives to promote the Zoo’s conservation message to a new, fashion conscious demographic. Together, the group has procured internationally-renowned photographer and animal advocate, Navid Matoory for the first fashion production of the Beauties and the Beasts partnership. For this production, Navid captured stunning moments between Irene Marie Model Katy Beal and the beautiful wildlife and backdrops of the Miami Metrozoo. The ZSF, the Zoo and Irene Marie have brought their message of conservation to Nikki Style readers in hopes that it will inspire you to become wildlife advocates and supporters of the ZSF and Zoo’s programs. “It is time that the entertainment industry, especially in my home of South Florida, uses its influence to promote conservation of the home we all share – earth” states Irene.
Readers interested in taking steps to ensure that the world’s wildlife will be around for future generations can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the Zoological Society of Florida. Your support will help the ZSF and the Zoo to enhance and create new exhibits like Amazon and Beyond, provide the animals with top-notch care and enrichment activities, and help develop and implement hands-on educational programs geared to instill an appreciation of the world’s wildlife in people of all ages. Contributions can also be made to help fund conservation efforts taking place at the Zoo as well as throughout the world to help save endangered animals and ecosystems.
